MIKA NINAGAWA

Mika Ninagawa is a Japanese photographer and director, known for her vibrant and brightly coloured photographs of flowers, goldfish, and landscapes. She has enjoyed significant commercial success in fashion and advertising.

Below is few of her works;

She does self-portrait very differently. Usually, people prefer to have a plain background for their self-portrait as they don't want to make the outcome of the photos messy. But for her, she prefers to make it colourful by placing colourful flowers and the model will have vibrant makeup colour. 

She also took photographs of goldfish with a very vibrant colour background which is unique. 

This is one of my favourite photos. The photo looks so fantasy. I love how the red butterfly compliment with the model's green outfit. The colour of the photo stands out which really attract people's attention. 

       

              

From her photographs, I learnt that we should not scare to be different. You can express your feelings through your works. From her works, I can somehow know that she loves flowers.
